From first call to final walkthrough

  1. Site and feasibility visit

    We look at your lot, utilities and access and tell you what size of unit makes sense.

  2. Plans and permits

    We draw the plans, submit them to the city and handle plan-check corrections.

  3. Build

    Foundation, framing, utilities, finishes. You get updates at each inspection.

  4. Final inspection and walkthrough

    We get the city's final sign-off and walk the finished unit with you.

Can I build an ADU on my property?

California law allows ADUs on most single-family lots. Your city still sets rules for size, setbacks and utilities, so we check your lot on the first visit.

Do you handle the plans and permits?

Yes. We prepare the plans, submit them to your city and handle any plan-check corrections and inspections.

Can I rent out a converted garage?

Once it is permitted as an ADU, many owners rent it out. We build it to code so it can pass final inspection for occupancy.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Unlimited Construction holds California contractor license #1040445 and is bonded and insured.
